At MMS we believe that we all share the responsibility of helping the environment. Every small step is a step in the right direction.

We strongly encourage our clients and our hotel partners to implement green initiatives for all of their meetings.  We have created a detailed “Sustainability Questionnaire” for our hotel partners. The questions address water conservation, energy conservation, use of environmentally friendly products (housekeeping supplies, use of local products, etc.), and environmentally friendly programs (recycling, waste minimization, etc.)

We have transitioned numerous clients to only using e-based documents and online registration. We purchase recycled badge holders and recycled badge stock when possible. We work with locally based printing companies that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and use recycled paper and soy based inks. We offer the option of using recycled plastic lanyards and also recommend that our clients use non-branded lanyards as they are less expensive than branded lanyards and may be reused at future conferences. Additional items we have used include: recycled reusable water bottles, pens made out of corn oil, and conference bags made out of 50% recycled plastic.
